Treatment

The treating doctor will discuss consent for any procedure that is undertaken. This discussion will include:

  • any risks associated with treatment
  • the results that the patient can expect
  • the post-treatment protocol

In order to achieve the best possible outcome, it is very important that post-treatment protocols are adhered to. By agreeing to have treatment at Vein Care SA, you are agreeing to adhere to the post-treatment protocol, as directed by the doctor.

At Vein Care SA we pride ourselves on providing high-quality service and outcomes. To achieve this, bulk-billed medical follow-up care is provided as required. However, if post-treatment protocols are not followed, Vein Care SA reserves the right to charge for ongoing consultations and treatments.

Payment

All patients are provided with information regarding the cost of their treatment at their initial consultation and assessment. If a treatment is booked after this consultation, it is understood that informed financial consent is being given and the patient agrees to pay the cost of their treatment.

Once the patient has been assessed by the treating doctor, the staff at Vein Care SA can assist with any further enquiries regarding the costs involved with the recommended treatment.

Full payment is required on the day of treatment. If you need to reschedule your treatment for financial reasons, please contact Vein Care SA as soon as possible and we will be happy to reschedule your appointments. We do not currently offer payment plans.

Cancellation

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, Vein Care SA must be notified at least one business day in advance.  Any non-attendance or cancellations on the day of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.  As there is often a waiting list for our services, we request sufficient notice so that we are able to fill any appointments that become available.
